Gordon Ramsay Inks New FOX Entertainment Deal

***Image***Gordon Ramsay and FOX Entertainment have come together to form Studio Ramsay Global, a new co-owned production venture that will develop, produce and distribute culinary and lifestyle programming.

The production entity will produce for FOX, the Tubi AVOD streaming service and platforms worldwide. Studio Ramsay Global will acquire 100 percent of Ramsay’s current television business, Studio Ramsay, with FOX funding the purchase.

Discovery Orders Two More Seasons of BattleBots

***Image***Discovery has picked up an additional two seasons of the robot-fighting series BattleBots, totaling 80 hours.

BattleBots will stage its 2021 World Championships beginning next month in Las Vegas. The BattleBox fight arena has been reimagined for the new seasons, with extra hazards for the robots.

Top Gear Production Shifting to Bristol

***Image***The London-based, BBC Studios-produced BBC One motoring entertainment show Top Gear is set to relocate production to Bristol next spring.

Top Gear’s track at Dunsfold Aerodrome in Surrey will continue to be used for filming recordings while the series itself films across the U.K. and around the world. The move will create a number of openings for editorial and production management personnel based in the nations and regions.

discovery+ India Unveils Originals Lineup

discovery+ India has revealed its lineup of original content, which includes the return of Star vs Food and a new local version of the U.S. format Say Yes to the Dress.

Season two of Star vs Food, produced by Endemol Shine India in collaboration with Korea Tourism, features such stars as Ananya Panday, Anil Kapoor, Nora Fatehi and Badshah. Say Yes to the Dress India will give Indian brides the opportunity to search for their perfect wedding dress. Both series are due to launch on the platform in the coming months.

HGTV Commissions Table Wars with Martha Stewart

HGTV has greenlit Table Wars, a new tabletop and special event design competition series that will feature Martha Stewart as its lead judge.

The six-episode series will showcase large-scale creations of eight expert event designers whose work will be judged by Stewart; actress, design enthusiast and Emmy Award winner Tamera Mowry-Housley; and luxury event planner and designer Chris Hessney. Table Wars is produced by Leftfield Pictures and Xpedition Media.
