ZDF Enterprises Presents Magellan Doc Special

***Image***ZDF Enterprises is offering Magellan—Circumnavigating the World, a 50-minute special from Terra X to mark the 500th anniversary of the first circumnavigation of the globe.

The film by Hannes Schuler and edited by Georg Graffe, Magellan—Circumnavigating the World follows in the footsteps of the expedition around the world—to Indonesia, Patagonia and Spain. With reenactments staged on a replica of the legendary ship Victoria, viewers experience the trials and tribulations of the crew, gain detailed insights into the last dramatic days of the expedition and learn about how the people in 1500 managed to build sailing ships that were able to travel over 60,000 miles.

Sunny Side of the Doc Goes Digital

***Image***In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 31st edition of Sunny Side of the Doc and the 4th edition of PiXii Festival will move to an exclusively online format.

Streamed from La Rochelle, France, from June 22 to 25, this year’s “Connected Edition “aims to provide viable funding opportunities, market intelligence and networking services. Activities include pitch sessions, one-to-one meetings and video resources and topical webinars (live-streamed Q&A, hands-on workshops, case studies). The new digital format allows for some of the online offerings to remain accessible beyond June 25.

Lifetime Greenlights Self-Shot Married at First Sight Spin-Off

***Image***Lifetime has greenlit a new Married at First Sight spin-off, Married at First Sight: Couples’ Cam, a self-shot series from Kinetic Content featuring couples from the show’s last ten seasons.

The series charts the highs, lows, humor, drama and domestic life of nine fan-favorite Married at First Sight couples. Following the couples’ ongoing stories in real-time, viewers are invited into their homes via mounted cameras, diary cams and virtual group chats.
